The other day, the girls tried out their new paint set. First they had to get on their smocks (old shirts of Mommy's) and then they were able to pick out the colors they wanted to use. Next, Sara began painting a picture of a green mommy and daddy while Emily - eventually using the brush end of the brush - painted a yellow sun. The painting activity truly showed each girls' personality...Sara did not want to get too messy while Emily let her creative juices flow! We try to make sure we have art class everyday...pretty soon the whole playroom will be wallpapered with Sara and Emily art! You just gotta love it!

Emily's First Time at Snip-its!

Emily accompanied her sister Sara today to Snip-its and experience a fantastic haircut! She was able to eat animal crackers while Karen, her stylist, trimmed her split-ends. Bubbles were a great treat to have while the work was being done. Emily, like her sister, wanted pigtails too! Emily received her own "First Haircut" certificate as well as a lollipop and sticker. It was a great time for all of us!

Sara's First Official Haircut

Compliments to Snip-its (a trendy children's hair salon) Sara received her first haircut! She had a great time blowing bubbles, getting a lollipop and getting her own pigtails! She got her very own "First Hair Cut" certificate and a prize! Karen her stylists did a great job and seemed to have as much fun as Sara! The trick will be to see if Mommy can put the pigtails in tomorrow.

Ahoy Mateys!

Sara and Emily had an exciting day Saturday when they attended their cousin Jack's birthday party! It was a pirate theme and the girls dressed the part. I enjoyed making them their own pirate outfits which Sara and Emily want to wear everyday now! Happy Birthday Jack!
