The Girls' New Playset

Well spring has certainly sprung at our house! The girls have been anxiously awaiting for the Play set to be ready to use. This week we have watched a boring corner of our yard turn into a dream come true! The girls would wake up each morning and go to the window to see what progress was made to their surprise. Each day they would find something new and today we went out and PLAYED! I am sure more pictures will develop this spring and summer for you all to see!

Easter Egg Hunt!

What a fun time we all had with our super sized Easter Egg hunt (thanks to Daddy Easter Bunny)! Sara and Emily filled their baskets up to the brim with colorful Easter Eggs and had a great time laughing along with thier cousins Justin, Liam, Jack, Matt, and Kate! The weather was a little chilly, but the sun was shining and everyone was smiling! (Sara's and Emily's adorable outfits provided by Land's End and hair style compliments of Mommy.)

Easter Morning

The night before Easter the girls left out two carrots hoping the Easter Bunny would find the yummy treat and stop by to drop off some special Easter Baskets. And you know what....the Easter Bunny did just that! Sara and Emily were so excited to see that the Easter Bunny left them Super Dora Spy Glasses (aka sun glasses), new Dora beach towels and a rainbow lollipop! The Easter Bunny also left over 300 Easter Eggs in the back yard for the children to hunt later that day!

Domestic Divas!

The girls were very busy last week getting ready for our Easter party. They decorated colorful eggs, made delicious sugar cookies in the shape of Easter eggs and helped Mommy make some yummy chocolate chip cookies! I think Martha Stewart would be pleased with the girls baking skills as well as their final products!

Flower Show with Grandma!

Thanks Grandma for taking us to the Flower Show! We had so much fun smelling the beautiful flowers and seeing all the pretty colors! We hope one day Mommy will learn how to keep flowers alive in our yard.

Styling in Vermont!

Thanks to "Auntie" Courtney...Sara and Emily showed Vermont how to be divas! Sara and Emily could not wait to get to Vermont a few weekends ago so Courtney could paint their toes and finger nails. Now the only person that can paint their toes and fingers is Courtney so Sara and Emily will be making weekly appointments with their new manicurist!

Home Depot...great marketing!

The first of every month, Home Depot holds a children's workshop...for free! The girls, Grandpa and Mommy went to try it out the other day and we had so much fun! The girls were able to build their very own bird house. They were able to use hammers, screwdrivers, nails, glue, and screws and they even got their own aprons! Sara and Emily cannot wait to paint their houses and get the houses ready for spring! We cannot wait to see what next month's project will be!
